SONIDOS is a creative production agency that creates stimulating experiences and content to evolve and transcend one's senses and essence.

We are driven by a passion for music discovery, intention, conscious living, & creative expression that goes beyond the bounds of what is typically experienced. we pursue the effort to evolve one another with the soul-touching ability of sound, art, and self-realization in order to reach our rooted, most genuine self.

We believe that sound is a way to escape, express, inspire, and fully intoxicate your mind, body, and soul with mindful sonic vibrations.

/ concept /

Different sounds invokes different emotions; It has the power to bring you further in harmony with nature.

And after all, as humans, we are a part of nature.

we are natural beings with subconscious intentions to evolve into our purest and most HEIGHTENED self, while remaining in harmony with our ancestral, destined path.

yet, at times, our preoccupation within our existence HALTS our conscious, emotional, and spiritual evolution.

With the immersion of sound, light, visuals, and natural elements, one can be subconsciously influenced to reconnect and be one in harmony with our natural and conscious world.

harmonic beat is an installation that will purse just that; the immersion and influence of the self in hopes of healing, harmonizing, and evolving each individual that flows within the space in a naturally, sonic environment by transmitting sounds tuned to 432 hz, the earth’s heartbeat.

scenic ELEMENTS

fluorescent PINK acrylic: this soundproof material will represent the DICHOTOMY between the organic and inorganic materials used and developed within our humanity. It will also be an aesthetically pleasing visual element that is vibrant when spotlit with blue or UV light.

cement facade: this material is clean and modern, which will balance out the other vibrant elements.

moss: moss has a sacred, everlasting breath to it; it lives beyond and in tandem with many elements. Utilizing this material along the cement facades will showcase the existence of differing elements and their harmonious presence in nature.

floral / sod: incorporating natural elements such as sod, floral, and trees, one will further feel connected to nature.

sonic component

432 Hz, otherwise known as Verdi’s A, was the music tuning standard prior to today’s tuning of 440 Hz. 432 Hz is widely considered a superior tuning that makes music more pleasant to listen to and has a positive influence on the human mind and body. 432 Hz also has interesting relationships with our planet and history.

Named after Winfried Otto Schumann, the German physicist who first discovered it, the Schumann Resonance refers to the electromagnetic frequencies between 7.86 and 8 Hz activated by lightning in the area between the ionosphere and the surface of the Earth. These resonances are essentially our planet’s heartbeat. By working from 8 Hz, we find note at 432 Hz, otherwise known as “Verdi’s A”. In short, 432 Hz is in tune with the Earth itself.

Over time, listening to our beautiful music created at 432 Hz tuning increases your sense of well-being and connectedness to a wider world. You might find it engaging your intuition, increasing your creativity, sharpening your intellect, and even expanding your consciousness.

Many describe 432 Hz music as more of an interior experience that fills your body, as opposed to the external sensation felt with 440 Hz. It is an all-consuming, innate connection, a more enjoyable, pleasant listening experience.

432 Hz is considered to have the potential to synchronize both hemispheres of our brain – the logical and analytical left brain and the creative and intuitive right brain – creating what scientists call “whole brain synchronization”, maximizing our potential as thinkers, artists, and spiritual beings.

SONIC & visual interaction

That said, in order to visually represent the sonic influence within our body, a body made up of mostly water, we will provide a reservoir reacting to the sonic environment. This experiment between science and art is called Cymatics, The study of visible sound and vibration.

An additional visual component can be to record the cymatics and have it be projected with effects onto a screen directly above on the ceiling of the structure in order to make the experience further immersive.

LIGHTING

depending on whether the cymatics visuals will be projected onto a screen above, lighting will either play a role of only washing the space, illuminating the floral, and structural environment or potentially having it be sound active with no projections.

budget

This is a rough estimate of costs, which will be dependent on what elements will be executed, such as video projections, sound active lights, and/or seating. Please keep in mind that I am working on downsizing this installation greatly to reduce costs.
